Green Plastic Spoon by Rob
Another masterpiece from Rob Freeman, who continues to pioneer and develop his remarkable and unique RGB technique. Rob immediately sprung into action and knocked this piece up when Roger called for assistance last week, thanks Rob!
Rob explains “Roger once sang ‘I was born with a plastic spoon in my mouth” and here is conclusive proof – as if any were needed. Not only that, but we now know that Roger was born with a green plastic spoon in his mouth!
Like all babies, the features are not really there, but we can tell that Roger was not just born with a green plastic spoon in his mouth, but he was also born with his mane. One can only hope that Roger was born via caesarian section, otherwise it would have been the world’s first velcro effect birth!
As you can see, after my last effort. I have decided not to draw any hands on Roger, preferring for the fade effect. I forgot to give him nipples. I’m sure they grew later! I should also point out that Roger’s mother has used a green safety pin (how colour coordinated is Mrs Daltrey!) to hold his nappy up. Unfortunately a filthy mind might mistake it for a cock. But I assure you, it’s definitely a safety pin! [last sentence snipped for legal reasons]”
What I have learnt about myself from this picture: I was born without nipples
